Sofia Norlin

Sofia Norlin (1974) is a Swedish screenwriter and film and theater director. She studied in Stockholm and in Paris, where she now lives and works. She shot the short film The Currents (Les Courants, 2005), which was screened at many film festivals. The drama Broken Hill Blues (Ömheten, 2013) is her feature debut, whose script originated on the Baltic island of Fårö with support from the Ingmar Bergman Foundation.
