Biography
Ernesto Villalobos was born in San José, Costa Rica in 1979. 'Neto' graduated in Sociology before studying at Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics of Catalunya in Barcelona. He wrote and directed several short films, among them 100 al Este and Jasón. His first feature Por las Plumas won the Miami International Film Festival Work in Progress prize, as well in Buenos Aires. The film premiered at Discovery in Toronto International Film Festival.
