Nick Berardini is a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri's prestigious School of Journalism, where he also played on the basketball team. While finishing his senior year, he began researching what would become Tom Swift and His Electric Rifle. Over the course of 6 years, Berardini's film would evolve from an observational, intimate portrait of one family's struggle to cope into an archival exploration of one of the world's most fascinating corporations. Tom Swift and His Electric Rifle is Berardini's directorial debut.
