Luis De Filippis

Luis De Filippis is a trans femme/gender fluid writer and director based in Toronto. Since graduating from Ryerson University’s Image Arts: Film Studies program, they have been making work that employs a fierce female gaze. Their work has been shown at many international film festivals, including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, the Aesthetica Short Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the Sundance Film Festival.
