Carlos Villafaina

After graduating in criminology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, his professional career makes a U-turn when he decided to study cinema at the ESCAC. He wrote and directed Silencio por favor, an autobiographical short film where he approaches the functional diversity of his twin brother. This student project won the Golden Roel in Medina del Campo and international recognition with the Audience Award in Short Shorts Asia, among others.
