Biography
João Gonzalez is a Portuguese film director, animator, illustrator and a musician with classical training in piano. He made 2 multiaward winning films, Nestor and The Voyager. He is interested in combining his musical background with his animation. Ice Merchants (2022) is his debut as a professional director and it premiered in Cannes.
