Just Go with It

Brooklyn Decker currently has no competition in terms of attractiveness and appearance, but that naturally does not guarantee the quality of a film, especially when it comes to summer comedies made by Hollywood. Fortunately, this is one of the good ones after a long time. And that's even with the name of Adam Sandler in the credits, among others. This troublemaker has a gift from God, he can make us laugh with his efforts to get out of various comedic situations “on the go”, of which there are countless in this film specifically. Let's not forget Jennifer Aniston, who completes an excellent duo. From the beginning, it was clear how everything would turn out, but the script and the storyline in terms of character development were of such high quality that everything feels convincing and logical. I enjoyed it a lot and that's saying something. Of course, the classic American glitz like luxury boutiques, cars and hotels cannot be missing, it increases the attractiveness, even though it’s very cynical. (10/06/2012)

I consider this an above-standard rom-com, if only because I almost peed myself. After a very long time, I heard huge fits of laughter in the cinema. I take it back that Sandler is getting boring, even though the supporting roles did carry most of the humor here. Surely absolutely everyone had to laugh at the lady with the mismatched eyebrows. Oh my gosh, I've been waiting for this for years!!! Huge surprise. I might even forgive Dugan for this one. (04/22/2011)

Sure, it's not original, there are clichés, but you know what? It all works as it should. An unpretentious romantic comedy that hopefully won't offend anyone's sensibilities, it's enjoyable and entertaining. A great thing to relax to. Finally, after a long time, a comedy where I didn't have to feel embarrassed at what the actors were doing. Plus, Sandler and Aniston looked good together, so there was nothing to be upset about. I tend to have mixed feelings when watching comedies with Adam Sandler. They always make me cringe, they always feature a character who cracks jokes intended for viewers with lower intelligence, and they are always more or less predictable. Then again, I always have a good laugh. This time, Jennifer Aniston was also cast in the film, which was a real hit. The older she gets, the better and I’ll even say prettier she is. I enjoyed her part the most. All in all, it was a breezy feel-good comedy, which made me laugh, and that is what I expect from a comedy. I was satisfied and I’ll watch it again sometime. Sandler is amazing! hen he's bored, he packs up two shirts, a couple of friends, two obnoxious kids and one of the hottest 40-somethings in the world and goes to Hawaii for a couple of weeks, where one of the least talented comedy directors will dutifully film it all; what's more, it makes him an incredible amount of money. Not to sound sarcastic, but yes, it's a film about something that very much resembles a turd, but yes, I had fun with it, and I had as much fun with the actors in that amazing setting as I've had in a long time with any other similarly-themed film (since, I don’t know, 50 First Dates). Unfortunately, it still has a bunch of annoying parts and the story is almost non-existent, so there’s no choice but to watch it once in a good mood and avoid it in the future.
