Atragon is a fairly standard film that doesn't particularly stand out in terms of plot, but it does shine with its good effects that blend technical inventions with "living" monsters. This is something that appeared even more often later. The Japanese continued in what was once their strength and what there was interest in at that time. It's quite naive in places, but it's still passable fun. Even within the kaiju genre, the film doesn't particularly stand out. ()
