Biography
Her first film, A Normal Life, won Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2003. Her second documentary, Youssou N'Dour: I Bring What I Love, won numerous festival awards. In 2013 she released Touba, a documentary about the Mouride pilgrimage to the city of Touba, in Senegal. Meru is her fourth film.
