Biography

After attending the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, in 1991 Cristiano Bortone graduated from New York University in film and television. Since then he has directed five feature films and several award-winning documentaries. His film Red Like the Sky won a David di Donatello award in 2007 and numerous awards at international festivals, including Sao Paulo and Sydney. He is also an active international producer and co-founder and treasurer of the Sino-European producers' association Bridging the Dragon.
