Adam Wong (1975, Hong Kong) graduated from Chinese University in Hong Kong. He began to shoot short films while studying in the United States; his Fish (1997), Ah Wai & Murphy (1999) and Glowing (2000) all won the IFVA award. So far, he directed three feature films: When Beckham Met Owen (Dong Pek Ham you sheung O Wan, 2004), Magic Boy (Mor suit nam, 2007) a The Way We Dance (2013). In 2009, he directed The Moon, which formed part of the Pinwheel omnibus. Wong divides his time between filmmaking and lecturing at several universities, including the Faculty of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
