Biography
Deepak Rauniyar (b. 1978, Nepal) started his career as a teacher and later worked as a print journalist and radio correspondent. His feature debut, HIGHWAY (2012) premiered at the Berlinale and was the first film from Nepal to screen at a major international festival. WHITE SUN, his second feature, was selected for L'Atelier at Cannes and Boost! in Rotterdam. It was awarded funding from the Hubert Bals Fund.
