Biography
Vlad Petri is a film-maker, photographer and independent producer born in 1979 in BistriĊ£a, Romania. After graduating from the University of Cinema and Theatre with a BA in
Cinematography and Television (2005) he started working as a freelance director, cinematographer and photographer on locations such as Afghanistan, Syria, Jordan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Albania. Most of his recent projects are documentary films on social issues, politics and activism, developed in Romania and the Middle East.
