Biography
Born in Melbourne, Australia, he worked as a dancer before becoming assistant director on documentaries and children’s shows. In 1963, he moved to London and was commissioned to make a series of films for the British Pavilion exhibit at Expo 67 in Montreal. He was hired by Hammer Studios in 1972 to direct Demons of the Mind, and four years later To the Devil a Daughter, the last horror film of the company.
