Biography
A native of Beirut, the filmmaker grew up in Cairo before moving to Paris. She studied documentary film in the French town of Lussas, where she earned a degree in Arabic. She currently teaches in Lyon, translates, works on various film projects, and holds directing workshops at the Les Inattendus film festival in Lyon. I Am the People is her first feature-length documentary.
