Biography
Lithuanian screenwriter, caster and director Marija Kavtaradze was born in the city of Vilnius. After graduating from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2014, she produced her first feature film Summer Survivors. The film opened the 2019 Toronto Film Festival and shortly after won the Best Baltic Film Award at Tallinn Film Festival.
