Biography

Nicolás Entel was awarded director at the Film University of Buenos Aires, and has a Master in Broadcasting Administration by the University of Boston, U.S. Since 2000, he divides his time between New York, where he was one of the co founders of Red Creek Productions and Buenos Aires. Appart from the support to the realization of his first work, the documentary Orquesta Típica, Entel is developing in the long feature sector. This includes the documentary, Pecados de mi padre, which he directed in Colombia and The United States, and other five long features including, La Difunta, a drama that takes place in the border between Mexico and The United States. Entel wrote articles for numerous magazines and received acknowledgement and prizes by several organizations, such as: the Berlinale Talent Campus, Kodak, the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, MPAA, IDFA’s Jan Vrijman Fund, NALIP, the Beverly Hills Film Festival, The Sundance Institute, IFP, INCAA, the University of Boston (U.S) and the Film University (Argentina).
