Biography
Kjersti Steinsbø, born in 1976 in Norway, studied literature and theatre as well as television production at the University of Bergen; she also studied directing at FAMU Film and Television School at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. She made her directorial debut with the short film The Knot in 2008. Steinsbø is attached to the production company Flimmer Film as a writer and director, and is also an Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies, at the University of Bergen.
