Biography

TIM HERLIHY has written or co-written the feature films Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Bedtime Stories, Grown Ups 2 and Pixels. These films have grossed over one billion dollars in worldwide box office revenue. He also co-wrote The Ridiculous Six for Netflix, which earlier this year became the most watched film in that service's history. Herlihy was an executive producer of the films Anger Management, The Longest Yard, Click, Grown Ups, Just Go With It, Jack and Jill, That's My Boy, Blended and The Do-Over. From 1994 to 1999, Herlihy served as writer, head writer and ultimately producer of the television variety series "Saturday Night Live," for which he received an Emmy Award® nomination. In 2006, Herlihy, a former attorney, was nominated for a Tony Award® for the Broadway musical version of "The Wedding Singer," which he co-wrote.
