Biography
Producer, production manager, writer and documentarian Sékou Traoré was born in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, and as the founder of Sahelis Productions in 2002 and Abissia in 2009 he's collaborated with prominent filmmakers such as Mahammat Salé Haroun and Abderrahmane Sissako. The Eye of the Storm is his feature directorial debut.
