Biography
Michal Vinik studied scriptwriting and filmmaking in Tel Aviv. Her first short film, Bait, was presented at the 2009 Sundance Festival. The second, Srak, was released at the Locarno Festival in 2011. Both films bagged awards both in Israel and around the world. Michal also teaches scriptwriting at Tel Aviv University and at the Beit Berl Academic College. Barash is her first feature film.
