Shahn Christian Andersen

Shahn Christian Andersen

Biography

Shahn Christian Andersen was born in the frozen tundra of Syracuse, New York. During his formative years he lived in Utah (Elsinore), Florida (Miami), Oklahoma (Edmond), Tennessee (Nashville), Pennsylvania (Philly), New Jersey (Hackensack), and Staten Island (Ganas) before settling in Brooklyn, New York. Regardless of what age he was when got there, he has always claimed to have "grown up" in Brooklyn. He began acting in high school, did community theatre in college, and then ended up in some of the most god-awful off-off-off-Broadway theatre New York City has ever offered. A transgender version of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Iolanthe" was a lowlight of this era of his acting development. Eventually, he clawed his way up to doing featured parts on "Mysteries at The Museum" on the Travel Channel, and SAG Indie films "Cigarette Soup" and "Respect The Jux". He also fulfilled a lifelong dream by acting on a telenovela for Mexican TV named "La Gata". In his free time Shahn practices architecture, writes and performs music, breaks his bones playing football, does scientific experiments on himself, and takes care of two little girls and one not-so-little girl.
