Biography (3)
Born in 1955 in Paris, Olivier Assayas studied at the Ecole of the Beaux Arts. He worked as a scriptwriter and director of short films between 1978 and 1985. He was also member of the Editorial Board at Les Cahiers du Cinéma from 1980 to 1985. His films include Desordre (1986), Cold Water (1994), Irma Vep (1996), Clean (2004), Summer Hours (2008) and Carlos (2010) and Something in the Air (2012).
