Biography
David Midell is a filmmaker, special educator, and disability advocate from Northbrook, Illinois. During his years as an educator, he has been inspired by individuals with special needs and witnessed the incredible strength of their families. He created Play On Productions to tell the world these stories. Having directed the short film, By Any Other Name in 2010, NightLights is his feature directorial debut.
