Biography

Francis Reusser is a Swiss photographer and filmmaker, who studied at L’École de Photographie in Vevey and then trained at Radio Télévision Suisse. His directorial credits include The Big Night (1976), which won the Pardo d’oro in Locarno, Derborence (1985), which was shown in Cannes and received the César for the best French-language film, and War in the Highlands (1999), which was selected in Berlin. He also created, alongside François Albera, the audiovisual section of ESAV (École supérieure d’art visuel à Genève).
