Biography
Marcos Prado (Brazil) studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography in California in the years 1983-1986. He is a renowned photographer whose work has won several international prizes (e.g. World Press Photo, Focus on Your World). He produced the documentary films The Charcoal People (Os Carvoeiros, 1999) and Bus 174 (Onibus 174, 2002). His directing debut Estamira won the International Jury Prize at last year's São Paulo festival.
