Biography

Francisco Márquez (Buenos Aires, 1981) and Andrea Testa (Buenos Aires, 1987) met while studying at the National School of Film Experimentation and Production (ENERC), where their mutual interest in politics led them into student militancy. The two joined forces at the school to film their first shorts, such as Imágenes para antes de la guerra (Márquez, 2001), screened at different international festivals and nominated for Argentina's Condor Awards, and Uno Dos Tres (Testa, 2010). Márquez has worked as an assistant director in film and television and Testa as a production coordinator for cable TV programmes. The two teach at the ENERC and the Avellanada Film School respectively.
