Biography
Mark Kirkland began his visual storytelling career as a layout artist. Gigs on a variety of shows led to directing 80 episodes of The Simpsons. An obsession with the history of cinema and the early days of movie-making led him to create and direct the short film The Moving Picture Co. 1914, which played at the Napa Valley Film Festival in 2014.
