Biography
Joe Talbot is a native San Franciscan whose emerging body of work has been recognized by beloved auteur Guy Maddin as "gorgeous, powerful, and moving." He received a fellowship to Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab with his debut feature film, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and was profiled in Filmmaker's "25 New Faces of Independent Film." His work has been covered by VICE, The Atlantic, IndieWire, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
