Biography

Tamlin Hall is an award-winning writer, filmmaker and founder of the nonprofit IAMHOLDENON. Tamlin is a coveted Humanitas Prize winner for television writing, receiving his MFA in screenwriting from UCLA. Prior to screenwriting at UCLA, Tamlin trained as an actor at The School At Steppenwolf inside the world renowned Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago, IL. Tamlin has recently been attached to direct a film adaptation of the extraordinary and inspirational #1 New York Times bestselling book, A Child Called "It", which is based on a true story about one child's unyielding courage to survive. The book has sold over 10 million copies and is the second most checked out book in libraries across America.
