Leila Conners Petersen is Founder and President of Tree Media Group. She is also director, producer, and writer of the short films Global Warning and Water Planet. Conners Petersen was associate editor at New Perspectives Quarterly and Global Viewpoint, focusing on international politics and social issues. Her work has been published in the International Herald Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Le Monde and Wired. Conners Petersen is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Pacific Council on International Policy.
