Biography
Jesús Pimentel Melo has a law degree from the University of Michoacán. In 2006, he received a Fulbright scholarship to study a Master’s in film direction at Columbia University School of the Arts in New York. He has participated in several workshops in filmmaking in Mexico and his short films have been shown at different international festivals. His short film Un bel morir received the Public’s Award at FICM in 2005.
