Biography
Francesco Taboada obtained his ba in Communications. He is devoted to the research and recuperation of oral traditions, and has taught Mexican History and documentary production at different universities. He has also lectured at a number of universities and cultural centers, among them, the Latin American Studies Center at Berkeley University, the Film and Video Archive at Harvard, and the Political Science Department at the unam (National Autonomous University of Mexico). He is a two-time fellow of the National and Sate Funds for Culture and Arts. He regularly contributes to the newspaper La Jornada de Morelos.
