Biography
Molly Dineen is an award-winning television documentary director, cinematographer, and editor. She has received numerous awards from the bafta and the Royal Television Society. Though born in Canada, she was raised and has lived practically her whole life in the uk, so she considers herself British. She originally studied photography at the London College of Printing but eventually switched to cinematography. The film which earned her widespread recognition was her 1987 documentary, Home from the Hill, about retired Colonel Hilary Hook’s return to the uk from Africa. Other notable documentaries include editions of Forty Minutes, Cutting Edge and The Ark, for which she received a bafta Award.
