María Luisa Gutiérrez

She is one of the most important Spanish producers. She began working in the production company Marea Films on films such as Airbag. Together with Santiago Segura, her production company, Amiguetes, has produced all the films in the Torrente saga. She has also produced films such as Three-60 and Unresolved Sexual Tension. Through Bowfinger, in just over two years, she has produced a dozen films, including Santiago Segura’s three hits Empowered and Father There is Only One and its sequel. She is on the Board of Directors of the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences.
