From 2008 to 2013 he studied writing and directing at Filmcollege Vienna. His medium-length graduation film Alone was shown at national and international film festivals. He was invited into the script-developing program scriptLAB fiction at the Drehbuchforum Vienna and worked as assistant to the director at the Burgtheater and Kammerspiele Vienna. His feature-length film debut as director was the documentary SARGIS – Such is life which celebrated its premiere at the Diagonale Festival of Austrian Film 2018 and was then shown at numerous national and international film festivals.
