Elizabeth Hobbs

Biography

She trained as a visual artist at the Edinburgh College of Art (Scotland). In 1998 she made two films with a felt technique and soon after she entered the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, where she made The Last Regret of the Grim Reaper. She has developed a special technique using watercolour that is filmed directly under the rostrum camera. In 2000 she directed the short film The Emperor and a year later The Witches awarded in several contests. The true story of Sawney Beane is her another short film.
