David Moreno combines scriptwriting for film and television with the direction and production of his own short films. Besides Flies, he has directed Socarrat (2009), Zombie (2012) and Nini (2016). He also produces other directors like Mikel Alvariño’s awarded short film Tuning Oscar (2014) winner of the Sitges Film Festival. He has collaborated as writer in Fariña – Cocaine Coast (Atresmedia/Bambú Producciones) and On Death Row (Movistar/Bambú Producciones). He is developing a new show for Movistar+ (Tornasol) and has co-written Blackbeach, feature set to direct by Esteban Crespo in 2019 (La Zona).
