Biography
Raúl is a Mexican filmmaker, whose work intersects contemporary art, political documentary, and visual ethnography to explore themes of “belonging” and “alienation” in immigrant communities. His films have screened worldwide. Raúl is a Tribeca Film Institute grant recipient, an IFP Filmmaker Labs fellow, a Firelight Media Documentary Lab Fellow, and a Ford Foundation, JustFilms grantee.
