Biography
After graduating from film school, János Edelényi joined Hungarian Television where his groundbreaking work adapting Shakespeare for the screen won great acclaim. Nevertheless, most of his films on contemporary subjects were banned and he was forced to emigrate. In 2009, he made a triumphant return with the multi-award winning Prima Primavera.
