Abby Elliott is an actress and writer, know for her work on "Saturday Night Live" along with her appearances on "How I Met Your Mother" and "2 Broke Girls." Elliott joined the cast of SNL in the 2008-09 season from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, the improv/sketch theater co-founded by SNL alumni Amy Poehler, where she trained and performed in both their New York and Los Angeles theaters.
