Biography
Tor M. Tørstad graduated from the french film school L'Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC) in Paris in 1968. After three years as a freelancer, he started working for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK, where he worked on productions for children and youth.
Since then he has directed numerous popular television series' and feature films, including the award-winning Nattseilere (produced as both a feature film and television series), Villaveien (tv-series) and Vill, Villere, Villaveien (feature film and tv-series).
