In 1978, he travelled to India and met Osho. In 1992, he established Navala Productions Ltd., a film and TV production company in Rome. With Navala Productions, he has produced and directed two feature length films supported by the Italian Ministry of Art and Entertainment. His first feature, Blue Line (1995), is based on a novel he published in 1990 and was selected for the Festival of Venice. His second feature, Zorba il Buddha (2004), won First Prize at the Goa Spiritual Film Festival and has been screened at many film festivals around the world. In the last years, he has directed and produced several documentaries on various topics.
