Kim Krizan

She is the co-writer and creator of the Before Sunrise film series, which was based on her train travels across Europe. She was nominated for an Academy Award and a Writers Guild Award for her work on Before Sunset. She holds a Master’s degree in English and Psychology, and is an Anaïs Nin scholar; her book "Spy in the House of Anaïs Nin" is an analysis of unpublished work by the french writer. She also wrote a tongue-incheek examination of History’s dangerous women, titled "Original Sins: Trade Secrets of the Femme Fatale". Krizan teaches writing and screenwriting at the college level. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and cats.
