Gabriela Martínez Garza

She is an art director for advertising agencies in Monterrey, Milan and Barcelona. She became interested in animation after using the stop-motion technique for short films and television series’. She received a grant from FONCA and the Support Program for Foreign Studies in Audiovisual Media in 2003. Defectuosos (Defective) is her first work as a director.
