English The wonderful music sweeps all other flaws under the table. I like Helena quite a bit here, but I can't help thinking about what she’s turned into. And the little bit of the "modern" in the tale is something I really like. ()

English A fairy tale in keeping with Czech pop stars of the time. It’s ironic and overly modern. I am bothered by its association with the fairy tales of the 1950s, which have their center of gravity somewhere else. How come Marta wasn't in it? ()

English I don't know how I managed to do it, but this is another one of those fairy tales that I successfully avoided until 2014. The songs that are here are simply unique and one just knows them, even though they have never seen the fairy tale. Neckář is excellent, but the scenery also impressed me. The set design is fantastic. ()
