November 2001. Turkey. Hunger strikes have now exceeded a period of one year. To date, 74 people have died and hundreds of prisoners have become disabled as a result of contracting the Wernico-Korsikoff disease. Whilst the faculties of thinking and abstracting are still functioning very well, the patients do not remember recent events. When they come to the end of an article, they do not remember the beginning. In other words, this is a story of the people who restart their lives every day, a joint living struggle of those who in the past prepared for death. (DOK.fest München)
