For thirty years, we have been a part of an increasingly globalized world and have been surrounding ourselves with things made at the other side of the globe. Our our main goal in the world of global capitalism is to consume. This industry approaches every individual human need with a cold calculation – where can you get the goods as cheaply and as effectively as possible and where to sell it with the biggest profit. That agriculture, the fashion industry and the mass production of cars and technology devastate the Earth, is suspected. But not many people realise that the same applies for flowers… (Ekofilm)
