This iconic British comedy, based on the script of the eccentric musician and narrator, Vivian Stanshall, who also starred in the film. The character of the English lord, Henry Rawlinson, was originally created for radio-broadcasted crazy sketches. In the 1980 film, the protagonist arrives at a family residence to help his completely insane relatives and equally crazy servants to exorcise the spirit of his deceased brother, Humbert. According to one film critic, this comedy has its honourable place in the pantheon of English entertainment somewhere between Monty Python's sketches and the film Withnail & I. You will laugh and cry until you feel sick. Sophisticated English freaks strike out! (Visions of Light)
