At first glance, this is a very logical film in Jane Seymour's career in the aftermath of Doctor Quinn. The time period fits, the message of the film fits, and some of the creative team has moved on, but on the other hand, it is also not a copy. If Seymour has given anything to audiences in recent years, it has certainly been to broaden awareness of other aspects of the 19th century that were not commonly seen until then. Thanks, Hallmark. :) ()
